The Story
Deep beneath the cliffs surrounding Black Hollow, the Curators uncovered a polished shard of obsidian wrapped in the stem of a thorn vine.
The vine had long since withered.
The obsidian had not.
Its mirror-like surface reflected every flame that passed above it, as if remembering centuries of candlelight.
The Curators preserved the relic beneath crystal-clear water so its silent strength could endure.
